We are incredibly grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund for their generous support in helping us make our radio-controlled race track more accessible to everyone.
Thanks to their funding, we have installed a disabled access ramp, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to fully enjoy our facilities. This improvement means so much to our community, as it ensures that everyone—regardless of ability—can participate in the excitement and camaraderie of RC racing.
This project is a big step forward in our mission to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. On behalf of our team and all the racers who will benefit from this upgrade: thank you for making a real difference.
We have been racing since 2004
The Banbridge and District Model Car Club was formed in March 2004 with an original membership of 13. By the end of the 2005 racing season the club had grown to a membership of over 80 drivers, mechanics and marshals.
